2022 Riot Kickoff Meeting

New, returning and potential members of the Regina Riot are all welcome to take part in the team’s annual kickoff meeting on January 26. The meeting gets underway virtually at 7 p.m. via Zoom. You’ll hear from key members of the organization, including coach Kris Hadesbeck and team president Morgan Bunce, about plans for the 2022 season.

For those who may not know, the Riot are three-time Western Women’s Canadian Football League (the highest level of women’s football in Canada) champs. In 2021, the team played a mini series of three games against their provincial rivals from Saskatoon. It’s hoped 2022 will see the return to a more normal schedule, including regular season games against the two Manitoba-based teams.

If you’re interested in joining the action, or just curious, make plans to join us the evening of January 26^th. You’ll get all the information you need and, who knows, you might just have a Riot!
