Head Coach
Claire played football for the Regina Riot from 2011-2017. During her playing career, she won two WWCFL Championships, one National Cup Championship and a silver medal as a part of Team Saskatchewan, and two silver medals as a member of Team Canada. Claire began coaching when she was 10 years old, coaching basketball in learn-to programs. While playing basketball for the U of S Huskies, Claire moved into coaching senior high school basketball and has done so now for 25 years. While playing local, Provincial Team and National Team Team Handball to coaching high school and provincial team handball.
In Football, she was a Receivers and Special Teams coach with the RMF Eagles in 2016, then moved on to coach the Balfour Bears in 2017 first as a positional coach, and has been the Head Coach since 2021. She has also been coaching with the Regina Victorias since 2018, Head Coaching since 2020. In 2022, she was the Head Coach of the first ever Saskatchewan Women’s U18 team, and coached Receivers with Team Canada Senior Women’s Team.
Claire has been coaching with the Riot since her retirement in 2018 (less the Covid season), holding various roles, including Receivers coach and Special Teams Coordinator.

Receiver Coach
Levi started his career in football in 2010 with the Regina RMF, he would then go on to play for Campbell Collegiate from 2017-2020 where he won a provincial championship and had received other accolades such as most improved player. Levi also played with the South Sask Selects from 2014-2017. Levi has since started coaching with the RMF in 2022 and joined the Riot coaching staff in 2023. He is eager to work with the great players on the riot again this season!
Offensive Line & Strength and Conditioning Coach
Football has been a big part of my life since 96 when I played my first Tackle Football in Santa Maria California. I played Junior College Football and Canadian Football for the first time in 2001 as a member of the Regina Prairie Thunder.

I also have had the privilege of Coaching U-16, Spring League, and RMF at every level.
Women’s Football has become very important to me and I had the privilege of Coaching the Victorias in there first season. Through it he 20 plus years of Coaching my Wife Carla has supported me through it all, is the love of my life and my MVP. I really enjoy being the Strength and Conditioning Coach and the opportunity to Coach OL this season.
Offensive Line Coach
Logan started football in 2013. He played for the Lumsden Devils in high school and RMF. Logan played 3 years of Selects Football out of Moose Jaw and 2 years of U16 South Sask, He won a national championship with U18 Team Sask in 2018. Logan played Left Guard for the Regina Thunder Football Club and was a PFC All-Star in 2021. This is his 2nd year coaching the Riot and is excited to win the championship!
Running Back Coach
Justin began his football career in 2015 with the Indian Head Broncs high school football team. He then spent his full junior eligibility with the Regina Thunder as a running back and returner. Justin also spent one season coaching the high school football team in Indian Head. The Regina Riot is thrilled to have Justin join the coaching staff this season!
Defensive Line Coach
Catlin is entering his 6th season coaching with the Regina Riot. Having been the DB coach in 2014, DL coach in 2019 and two full season (+1 covid adapted season) serving as the Defensive Coordinator and DL coach. Having enjoyed playing 6 years of post secondary football, spending 4 years with the Vancouver Island Raiders and then 2 with the university of Regina Rams Catlin made the transition to coaching in 2013. Catlin has coached at the bantam level, as well as numerous highschool teams in the city (Thom,Knoll,Campbell) and 2022-present is the DL coach on the Regina Thunder.
Defensive Line Coach
Shelby Moran has been with the Regina Riot since day one in 2011. She has played 12 years as a player ( winning 3 championships) and is entering into her 3rd year as a coach. She has coached linebackers and is now coaching the defensive line.
Shelby has also coached linebackers with W.F. Johnson wildcats for 1 year in 2016. She has also coached 10 years of wrestling, 7 at Winston knoll and 3 at W.F. Johnson High schools.
Shelby has played for team Saskatchewan in nationals winning both silver and gold.
Shelby also played football in high school, Grade 9, with Dryden Eagle’s High School team as a DB, RMF for one year, and 2 years with Winston Knoll Colligiate as a defensive back, winning the acedemic athletic award for football. Shelby competed in various sports through her life anywhere from synchronized swimming. To ringette, to soccer, to football and many more. She won multiple city championships and couple provincial championships in wrestling as well as competed at the University of Regina. Shelby also competed in Canada games in 2009 for wrestling winning bronze.
For work Shelby is a red seal carpenter and currently a site superintent for Caliber Construction.
Linebackers Coach
Rob joined the Regina Riot after a storied playing and coaching career. Rob played Offensive and Defensive Line in Regina Minor Football from ages 9-14 before converting to Defensive Back and Quarterback during his time at Luther College High School. Rob played for the University of Tulsa before joining the Regina Rams in back-to-back championship seasons where he played Safety and Wide Receiver. Rob also spent time in the CFL as a Defensive Back, Receiver and Returner. He spent time with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, losing the Grey Cup in 1972, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Calgary Stampeders, and the Edmonton Eskimos.
Rob has coached Regina Minor Football (Atom, Pee Wee, and Bantam) as Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, Linebackers Coach, Defensive Backs Coach and Special Teams Coach; and is currently a member of the Bantam Lakers coaching staff. Additionally, Rob has spent 3 years as Head Coach, 3 years as Defensive Coordinator, and 2 year as Linebackers Coach in the Regina Minor Football spring league. Rob has also coached Offensive and Defensive Line at McGuigan High School, and also served as DC and LB coach at Luther College High School for 13 years and currently serves as LB coach at Balfour Collegiate. In addition, Rob has served as a Guest Coach at local high school spring training camps, Regina Thunder evaluation camps and spring training camp and coaches at the University of Regina Rams Football School.
Assistant Special Teams Coordinator & Linebacker Coach
After retiring from play in 2019, zuck is returning for her 3rd year coaching with the Regina Riot.
She has a coaching back ground in freestyle wrestling, minor football with RMF, as well as junior men’s football.
Defensive Back Coach
Branden started playing football when he was 10 years old and played RMF for 5 years before playing for O’Neill in high school for 3 years. During that time, he also played for the U16 South Sask team and won a national championship with U18 Team Sask. After high school, he played 5 years with the Regina Thunder winning the PFC championship in 2022 and being named a captain during his last year. Next year, Branden will be moving to Nova Scotia to play for the St FX X-Men. He spent one season coaching with the O’Neill football team and is in his rookie season with the Riot.
Defensive Back Coach
This is Jonah’s first year coaching with the Riot. He has one year of coaching experience in the past with the Martin-Luther Kings Football Team, where he coached linebackers in the fall. He attended Luther College High School, where he played 4 years of football with the Luther Lions. He then went on to play 3 years with the Regina Thunder, highlighted by winning the 2022 PFC Championship. Currently, he’s enrolled in the Hill School of Business, where Jonah is majoring in accounting, while working towards attaining his CPA. Jonah is looking forward to doing his part in helping the Regina Riot capture the 2024 WWCFL Championship!
