2020 WWCFL Season Cancelled

On Monday, March 30th the WWCFL officially announced the cancellation of the 2020 season due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. This difficult decision was made with the support of all seven of the WWCFL’s teams, including the Regina Riot.

This decision was made based on a number of factors, the primary of which being the health and safety of all those involved with the league. The potential financial ramifications of having to cancel the season at a later point also played into the decision making.

The Regina Riot want to thank the players, coaches and staff for all the work that they’ve put into the season to date. We’d also like to thank our fans and sponsors for their tremendous support now and always.

We look forward to hitting the field again and celebrating our 10th season in 2021.
